Design and oversee the construction of mine structures and systems, including mine ventilation systems, mine shafts, tunnels, and equipment installations.
Develop and implement mine plans and production schedules, taking into account factors such as geology, ore grade, and mining methods.
Monitor and evaluate mining operations to ensure they are running efficiently and safely, and to identify areas where improvements can be made.
Analyze geological data and conduct surveys to assess the quality and quantity of mineral deposits, and to determine the most effective methods for extracting them.
Manage the development and implementation of mine safety programs, and ensure that all workers are trained on relevant safety protocols and regulations.
